　　《W最后的日子（Last Days of W）》是美国摄影师埃里克·索斯（Alec Soth）于2008年完成的私人摄影项目。在这个项目中，摄影师以温和的纪实方式表达了对乔治·W·布什任期内的美国景致的关注。《W最后的日子（Last Days of W）》是摄影师自出版的摄影集，被马丁·帕尔选为2008年十大年度摄影书之一，它采用新闻纸印刷，印数6000份，但仍然极其珍贵。
　　
　　“亨利·卡蒂埃-布列松曾经说过一段著名的话，‘这个世界正变得愈发破碎，像亚当斯和韦斯顿这样的人正热衷拍摄岩石。’但是，我不认为只有当这些摄影师头也不回的冲向战争地带的时候，这个世界才会变好。问题是，当你在拍摄岩石之时，你是否可以成为一名有政治意识的摄影师？我的照片没有包含特定的社会观点，但我认为它们的确又包含着社会和政治的意义。”

关于摄影师

　　埃里克·索斯（Alec Soth）于1969年出生于明尼苏达州的明尼阿波利斯市。2004年， 埃里克成为玛格南候选成员，2008年正式加入。他的第一本书《靠着密西西比河生活(Sleeping by the Mississippi)》于2004年出版并一举成名，他扛着一台重重的80年后期生产的R.H. Phillips and Sons 8×10相机沿着密西西比河岸记录当地人们真实生活。随后相继出版了《尼亚加拉》(Niagara)和《狗岁月，波哥大（Dog Days, Bogotá）》和《W最后的日子（Last Days of W）》。
